TYPOTONIC – Frequently Asked Questions

TYPOTONIC is a TYPO3 extension that allows you to model, manage and render records in the frontend based on TCA without creating your own extensions. You benefit from full TYPO3 core integration (FormEngine, TCA, Workspaces etc.).

• Rapid prototyping of new content types without creating your own Extbase extension
• Structured data (record collections) with TCA validation
• Frontend rendering via Fluid templates or ViewHelper
• List and detail views via the Display Records plugin

1. Install extension via Composer (or Extension Manager)
2. Include Static Template in site template
3. Clear caches

You can predefine templates via TypoScript and render them with Fluid (see "Templating" in the documentation). Predefined templates can be easily selected.
